About the Sulphur-crested Cockatoo
A theatrical white parrot with a blazing yellow fan of a crest. Can live 80 years in captivity. Screeches loud enough to be heard over machinery. Intelligence rivaling primates in puzzle experiments. Flocks famously strip trees in Sydney parks.
