About the Greater Roadrunner
A ground cuckoo that sprints at 30 km/h across the desert. Kills rattlesnakes by bashing them against rocks, sometimes hunting in pairs. Flies only reluctantly, preferring to run. Special glands excrete excess salt, so it rarely needs to drink.
