About the Golden Eagle
One of the most formidable raptors alive, taking prey as large as foxes and deer fawns. Pairs stay together for life and sometimes hunt cooperatively, one bird chasing prey toward the other. Nesting territories are reused for generations. Revered in Mongolian falconry for centuries.
